March Networks Teams With Dell To Deliver Integrated, Fully Certified Command Video Management Solutions

Powerful VMS solution offers plug-and-play performance, one-stop ordering and support

March Networks, a global provider of intelligent IP video solutions, is pleased to announce new video management system (VMS) offerings for organizations seeking scalable IP video surveillance in a convenient plug-and-play solution.

March Networks Command Application Bundles combine open Command Recording Server (CRS) software with three robust Dell server and storage options. The VMS solution is pre-installed, pre-configured and certified for optimum performance. It is a cost-effective option for retailers, transportation agencies and other commercial organizations that need to deploy and manage high-definition IP video across multiple remote locations with limited onsite IT support.

“With these fully integrated VMS solutions, organizations don’t need to spend time wading through technical server specifications or adjusting configurations during installation. They can simply select the configuration that’s best suited to their business, knowing that it has already been tested and certified to work seamlessly in their IT environment,” said Net Payne, Chief Marketing Officer, March Networks. “In addition, customers can rely on March Networks as their single point of contact for ordering and support.”

Incorporating all the benefits of March Networks’ Command VMS, the offering enables organizations to take advantage of key software capabilities including centralized system management, mass configuration, real-time health monitoring, and lightning-fast search and investigation tools – all via a user-friendly, browser-based interface. The open solution also supports a wide range of third-party edge devices, as well as the company’s own portfolio of megapixel and high-definition IP cameras. Running on enterprise-class Dell server and storage platforms optimized for remote locations, the solution delivers the reliability, redundancy and scalability organizations need for their immediate and future video requirements.

The integrated offering is available in three configurations, supporting as many as 128 video streams and 3,840 frames per second across all channels at megapixel resolution. The CRS 128 solution provides up to 28TB of internal RAID-5 storage and optional external storage arrays that can be daisy-chained together to increase archived video retention, while the CRS 32 Local Control can be used as a standalone workstation.

March Networks is demonstrating its Command VMS solutions in Booth 2937 at the ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits, September 29 to October 1 in Atlanta, GA. For more information, visit www.marchnetworks.com/ASIS14.
